The celebrated Mannheim Model United Nations conference is thrilled to welcome delegates once more this spring. Journey with us between 19-21. April 2024, as we gather in the famous baroque palace of Mannheim.
MAMUN 2024 weaves together six dynamic committees. Delve into global challenges with UNODC and UN Women, navigate geopolitical landscapes in the UNSC and African Union, revisit critical alliances via Historical NATO, and envision global partnerships in the Futuristic BRICS+ Summit. This ensemble, shaped by our theme, intertwines the lessons of the past with the promises of tomorrow.
MAMUN 2024 promises more than debates. While our final social programme remains to be determined, prepare yourself for unforgettable encounters and shared moments with your fellow delegates.

Together with other volunteers we are already working on the preparation of MAMUN. During the conference we will be your contact persons and do everything to make the conference a great experience for all of you. The University
The University of Mannheim, located in the largest German baroque palace (Schloss Mannheim), is one of the most prestigious universities in Germany. The City

One of the city's most famous landmarks is the Mannheim Baroque Palace, which is the second largest Baroque palace in Europe after Versailles. It is a beautiful and impressive structure that houses the University of Mannheim, one of the most renowned academic institutions in Germany. Mannheim is also known for its vibrant and diverse nightlife, with numerous bars, clubs, and restaurants catering to all tastes and preferences. The city is famous for its culinary delights, including traditional German dishes and international cuisine. The city's location at the heart of Europe makes it an ideal destination for travelers, with easy access to other major cities in Germany, as well as neighboring countries such as France and Switzerland - and it is an ideal place for a MUN conference.
Traveling to Mannheim
Traveling to Mannheim for the MAMUN 2023 is easy, thanks to its excellent transportation links. Whether you're coming from Paris, Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Stuttgart, or Frankfurt, you can easily reach Mannheim by train. The city is served by Deutsche Bahn (ICE and regional trains) and can be reached from destinations throughout Germany and beyond. You will arrive at Mannheim Hauptbahnhof (main station), which is located in the city center, just a few meters away from the University of Mannheim.
BY TRAIN
If you're coming from Paris, you can take the high-speed TGV train, which will get you to Mannheim in just over three hours. From Berlin, you can take the ICE train, which takes about six hours. Cologne is just two hours away by train, and Munich is around four hours away. If you're coming from Stuttgart, the journey takes just over an hour, and from Frankfurt, it's around 30 minutes.
BY PLANE
If you prefer to travel by air, Mannheim is conveniently located near major airports including Frankfurt, Cologne, and Stuttgart. You can then take a direct train from Frankfurt, Cologne, and Stuttgart to Mannheim.
